Concentrated Botanicals
A supplement to enhance the immune system is called “Protectival,” It is also called an “active immune shield.” Protectival is a patented formula of 14 highly concentrated bioactive botanicals. All are used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine (TCM). These have been used for hundreds of years to protect healthy cells, destroy unhealthy ones, enhance the immune system, and protect the body from toxins.

Each of the 14 herbs has been verified by scientific research, and the entire formula has been positively tested in clinical trials at a major medical center in Israel.

The formula’s manufacturer, Lifebiotic, claims:

“Protectival’s ingredients go through four levels of quality control before each production, assuring the used ingredients are pure, free of toxins, and have the expected bio-active potency levels to be effective.”

The Sourasky Tel Aviv Medical Center, in conjunction with scientists from M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Harvard University, Miami Children’s Hospital, performed the research on this formula. We happen to know two of the scientists who co-authored these papers, and both of them are thoroughly reliable. So we have confidence in the accuracy of the information that is provided in these papers.

Basically, in clinical trials, 82% of patients who took Protectival did not suffer from a decrease in either white or red blood cells when they took Protectival (then called LCS101) along with chemotherapy. Protectival (or placebo) was started two weeks prior to the first chemotherapy dose and continued until the last dose. Although not tested, we believe there is a good chance that Protectival can help restore an immune system that has already been damaged by chemo, radiation, or disease.
