Doing great 6 years out

Postby CatHair » Thu Sep 30, 2021 4:16 pm

Hope this good report gives cheer and positivity to any who can use it. It's been six years now since my main surgery and so far, so good. My digestive system settled down fully after about 3 years. CEA is just fine, all other exams are just fine, I can eat anything I ate before the cancer dx and rectum removal, and the gastroenterologist said I don't need to come back for a colonoscopy for another five years.

Mostly I want to give thanks again to this forum and everyone on it who has been so helpful and supportive...not just to me, but to all of us. What a resource for not just information, but reassurance, support and love.
