Is this the Kenny Thompson (now age 51) who was DX'd three years ago and who joined this forum originally on Friday July 12, 2013 at age 48?

Thanks for the update, Mike.

It seems wrong that someone like Kenny who has such gusto for life can be in this situation. I was hoping for a different outcome. A miracle. Something. Kenny is a wonderful, complex, creative, humorous, and strong person and I'm proud to call him my friend. Those of you on FB, please tell him that Juliej sends her love.

I came to the forum after Kenny and always enjoyed his posts .Man was always positive and knowledgable about whatever topic he was speaking of. I knew he had lung growths last he posted he was going for immunotherapy more or less I'm not quite sure if it was exactly immunotherapy but along those lines .Then nothing for quite some time then his wife posted how he was thinking of everyone but couldn't speak his thoughts as he now had growths on his brain. I knew it was not going to be a happy ending, but I also thought he would pull a trick or two out of his sleeve , but not this time. I'm pretty pissed off and bummed out he and I are same age and I always respected his posts and thought process. After coming on board I just can't count how many people have gone and most times out of nowhere I was blown away when Voxx moved on as he was posting one week and then poof gone or the woman from Italy and Iceskater the young kids in there twenties . This just sucks and now one must brace themselves for what's next. Sorry to be a bummer but that's where I'm at lately taking motorcycle run with the boys tomorrow and I sure hope that gets me out of this funk

Yes, Kenny always put a smile on my face. I also talked to him privatly quite a few times. I considered him a great friend (even tho I never met him in person). I am so sad he is in this situation. He is such an amazing person.
