Buying a new car

This is my new car as of this coming Monday. I have to test drive it yet and see it in person but if it looks as good as the pictures and nothings wrong with it, I'm buying it. It's a 2010 Toyota Matrix. I've been driving a 1998 Ford Explorer, it's time for a new (almost new 15,000 miles) car. Hubby said I could have it:)

Can you tell I'm excited:)

Cool car. Buy yourself something really nice with all the money you save on gas. My company car is a Ford Ranger, which I think is the pickup version of the Explorer. It's a nice rig, but only gets 22 mpg compared to the family Jetta, which nets 32. Of course, I can haul a lot more firewood with the pickup.

Hey Jeff that sounds good! Where are you, Minnesota? If so that might just be feasible.

That's one of the reasons I bought it, am buying it is because it gets 32 mpg on highway and I forget what city is but it's all highway here. My parents have the vibe which is made by Toyota and is almost identical and they love it. I can't wait. I just hope it's all it says it is or I will be very disappointed:(

A couple of days ago, I saw a TV ad for Toyota saying how safe Toyotas are and, at the end of the ad, signing off with "Toyota; Moving forward". Pretty funny, I thought, under the circumstances. But I'm sure your accelerator will never stick.

The accelerator problem has been fixed I'm sure. I left a message asking about it and will make sure on Monday. I don't think they can sell it without doing it.

GO FOR IT!!!! I hope you get it. We just spend $18,000 plus last week getting a new battery for my car. We plan to keep my car but when 2 cars died last week, we are now looking for a newer 3rd car.

Buy this car and enjoy it. 32 MPG is great milage, are you taking it on vacation?

I am digging my new wheels. I am still trying to figure out a name. When my wife's 03 ford explorer crapped its pants, we got a decent deal on a used Grand Marquis, which I named The Grand Marquis De Sade.

Right now I am leaning toward The Lady Versa (for my 2010 Nissan of the same model) because I am very clever and original.
