I know the lights are out and the door is closed, but I want to leave a message on the door as things are online are never really gone.

19th years after the day the surgeon was going to take care of the little cancer, with my family history I never thought I would still be here but I am.
Overall it’s all good, still have the biggies sever nerve damage and the pooping without any notice… but now its kind of like whatever.

I want to thank the founder, mods and everyone who posted. Pre cancer I never though it would be so important to have someone who can relate to what you are experiencing. Boy was I wrong I was very down when I found the club and once, I started reading and realized others felt exactly the same way it was life changing.

All of the good advice, fun and support, swinging chickens anyone?
I think of all the people we lost its sad but we remember them and how they made us feel.

I know I got so much more from this group then I even thought.
I hope I helped at least one person.

When I first joined you weren’t online all the time, so when I took the time to come here, I was able to give it my full attention.
I know I am old, but it was different, better I think but maybe I am wrong.

Cancer sucks, but people don’t find them and make both of your lives better and don’t forget to advocate for yourself.

I have my next colonoscopy later this year and will be thinking about the forum.

Live long and prosper…yes I am also a star trek nerd :D
