My dear friend OSM

Thank you so much.
I am so grateful, and humbled, by your comments and support, always.

So many CTalkers have endured more than I
... BUTT we are ALL here to support each other
and you are a perfect example of that sharing and caring.

Mega Cheers to all on the Journey
...and especially O Stoma Mia

Peace Love and Harmony

After 7 years of so many ups and downs, I find it better for my mental health to stay away from all things cancer-related, including this forum. I've accepted that we're in this for the (hopefully??) long term; stable periods split by intense crises... We're in a stable phase right now, so I try to enjoy it and not worry too much about the next catastrophe!
But I often think of all the forum's members and occasionally drop by to see what's going on :)

But do you ever find that a part of you still wants to check in, even if just out of curiosity or habit?

Oh absolutely - if only to make sure the "old timers" are still around and kicking! But at first I was coming here for information, as we all do - the diagnosis is so overwhelming. I still do, when DH faces a new challenge.

Yeah, it’s been super quiet lately. Hopefully, that means people are doing well. I still check in sometimes, just to see how everyone’s holding up. Life gets busy, but it’s nice to know the regulars are still around.

All forums have died.
All people have moved to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Except "Man up to Cancer" community that moved from Facebook to Circle.

Feels like we're the last ones turning off the lights in the old neighborhood. At least the signal-to-noise ratio’s decent now

I hope everyone is doing ok. Btw, has anyone on here been in contact with roadrunner? He hasn't posted in awhile. When forum members don't post in awhile, I get worried. Roadrunner, I hope you are ok and doing well.

No, I have not been in contact with roadrunner. However, over the past few months I have noticed 'roadrunner' logins appearing here on the Forum almost every day, but no recent 'roadrunner' posts to the message board. That's all the information I have.
