2025: In Memoriam

It would seem appropriate to be starting the 2025 topic with a tribute to my own Mother who passed away in January.
I composed this verse as part of my eulogy for her.

A Mother’s Love

What could compare
With a mother’s love
A gift of Joy
From God above

Knowing her child
Will face joy and strife
Gives of herself
To give you life

There is no greater
Gift to receive
Than to be the one
She has conceived

A life long joy
Like no other
I cherish the love
From my own Mother
