Influenza A

Postby beach sunrise » Thu Feb 06, 2025 8:03 pm

Hey yall, just got over flu A 2 weeks ago and went for bloodwork yesterday. Results were lymphocytes down from 5.8 to 4.3 x10E3/uL . Calcitriol(1,25 di-OH Vit D)02 57.8 from 74.3 pg/mL, Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy 01 56.9 from 66.9 ng/mL. Monocytes, Eosinophils and Basophils were up. Absolute lymphs were down. Alkaline Phos was up. So, definitely an inflammatory response to the Influenza A virus.
I feel like I would have had a more severe time with the flu if some of these levels were already low or high when I caught the flu.
Thought I would post my experience with flu and how it affected my body thru bloodwork before and after.
