Hi all- checking in. Some of you know me and some don’t. Just saying hello. Mom is good. As some know may 2011 diagnosed with Mets to liver, October 2015-June 2022 NED. Resurfaced June 2022. Did chemo. Her ablation October 2023 went perfectly - discharged same day. Was on portal vein so wasn’t easy but the surgeon got it all. Spot popped back up and radiated again in 2024. Currently clean scans as of Feb 2025. Mom is now 78.5. The treatments do take a toll but she’s enjoying life and she had a seven year break. She’s also just getting older. The Italy trip was amazing summer 2024. She toured all of Rome and Tropea with my dad and my family. Planning the summer 2025 trip.

I always want to share her success because in may 2011 we never would have imagined she would be with us in 2025. It was some dark days. thinking of you all.

in her nineties ... Surviving and thriving all the way.

I haven’t been on the forum for a long while……
My mom, sending love from Julie and Pete. Your neighbors.

Pete is doing very well. Sees Sandy and Trish at Sloan. Now every two years for bw and scans! Seems very strange to us that Dr. Kemeny is retired. We are grateful to her everyday and Pete even made her laugh once-in-awhile! Love to all, and KEEP FIGHTING, don’t ever give up! You can always message me if you want to chat.

cR guy so sorry to hear about your mom but it sounds like overall she did well and enjoyed life.

My mom and dad are coming with us to Costa Rica this summer. I’m just gonna drag her all over the place lol
