Plant based bioactives as anti cancer agents

Postby utahgal7 » Wed Jan 22, 2025 8:16 am

An interesting research article about different plants and their abilities to fight cancer.

Indepth paper. Thanks for posting.
Not often do I see andrographis listed for cancer like in the paper you shared but it is a vey potent cancer killer in CRC. I had been taking it since early 2020 (not as part of cancer protocol) then found it synergizes with xeloda and 5FU to go to work on different pathways and mutations also. I slacked off it last year until I found a paper on it that was indepth and had some of my markers as ones tested.

The research that I have read about andrographis is really interesting. Is it safe for long-term use? The information that I have read about its usage is mixed. Some reports say that is for short-term use only and other reports say it can be taken continuously. I wish rp was here to weigh in on its usage.

Has anyone on this forum heard from rp1954? He hasn't posted in quite some time. I was wondering if anyone on here stays in touch with him.

I take it 5 days on, 2 days off and has been safe. Mine comes from Metagenics. I bet they have an email or # to call to ask questions/get more info. I originally began taking it with the Metagenics supplement package for cv19 immunity protocol back in 2020-about spring of 2024. Now back on it 5 days on, 2 days off.

Below is a pretty indepth study of andrographis anti-cancer

Thank you for sharing that research paper. It was a very interesting read. The scientists were very thorough with their research of andrographis.
