First congrats on 16 years. So great to hear long term success stories!
But, like most folks I do have a personal reason for posting as well

I'm a relative newbie here. At the moment I have an ileostomy, but I am scheduled for reversal surgery in January. I just read your discussion from 2009-2011 about your experiences with LARS, but my question is this:
Can you summarize your top 3 pieces of advice for a newbie with an upcoming reversal?
Male born 3/66
10/23 TIIIbN+M1 - Stage IV common iliac lymph nodes metastatic
tumor 7.4 cm from AV, moderately differentiated
MSI-MSS; KRAS non-mutant
MD plan - Modified Neo-adjuvant Therapy
12/23 - 27 treatments rad+Xeloda
03/24 6 rounds FOLFIRINOX
5/24 TME/LAR + lymphadenectomy of common iliacs, temporary ileostomy
7/24 6 rounds FOLFOX
1/25 ileostomy reversal
4/25 PET Scan - NED
5/25 Signatera -neg
CEA (10/23-3/25) 1.8,1.3,1.6, 1.8, 1.6,2.1,2.7,2.4,1.4
