Fermented Wheat Germ Extract is a Very Important Compound
It contains chemicals called benzoquinones that have a unique effect on cancer. A study in the British Journal of Cancer showed that progression-related events were less frequent in a group pof patients receiving FWGE than in a control group.
The rate of new recurrences was 3.0% with FWGE added vs. 17.3% in those who did not get FWGE, a five-fold improvement.
The new metastases rate was 7.6% vs 23.1%
The death rate was 12.1% vs 31.7%.

This trial was performed at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, the largest hospital in Israel. One of the authors, Yehuda Schoenfeld, MD, was editor of the Israel Medical Association Journal. The paper’s conclusion:
“Continuous supplementation of anticancer therapies with [FWGE, ed.] for more than 6 months is beneficial to patients with colorectal cancer in terms of overall and progression-free survival.”
