I didn't watch the whole video but I'm familiar with Dr. Seyfried's work, and I have a lot of respect for him. It's essentially keto for cancer, which is controversial for the long term. I'm no medical expert but as I understand it, one issue is that depriving the cancer of glucose might initially work but cancer cells are smart and if there's no glucose, eventually they will figure out how to use protein and then you'll be feeding them. I think it's more theoretical than proven over time. That's not to say it's wrong - not at all - only that in the absence of longer-term studies with different cancers and circumstances, the end results may be the opposite of what you were hoping to achieve, at least in the long term. Again, I'm no medical expert. This post is based solely on my conclusions after researching it a few months ago.
