Neulasta bone pain

Postby skimom » Sat Mar 02, 2024 9:33 pm

Hello - anyone have any tips to help with the Neulasta bone pain besides taking Claritin? It doesn’t help me much and just wondering if there are any better ideas out there.

Thanks!

I’m not sure if there’s much science behind it, but I find combining the Claritin with naproxen (eg Aleve) seems to work better than other anti-inflammatories. Other than that - heat, eg hot packs / wheat bags, warm baths, etc. all seem to help in the short term at least.

I agree with Rob about Claritin/naproxen combo and the other helpful suggestions. Have you considered acupuncture or a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) device? Both acupuncture and the tens device have helped me with bone pain in the past.

Thanks Rock_Robster and Utahgal7! I’ll give the naproxen and heat packs a try. As for the acupuncture I’m going to wait on that one. I’m traumatized by needles but thanks for the suggestion!! I have used a TENS in the past and if the other suggestions do not work I’ll look into getting another one.

Thanks again!! Really appreciate it :)
