Good news - shrinking liver tumors

Postby nmorgen » Fri Dec 01, 2023 7:57 pm

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I updated, but that is mainly because my DH is only getting scanned every few months. His 2 colon tumors have been consistently shrinking. The 7 cm is now 1 cm and the 8.3 is 3cm We are looking at surgery for those.

We got the results from his mri yesterday and the two large liver Mets are finally shrinking. The 9.8x7 is now 9.3x5 and the 7.3x6.1 is 6.9x5.4. It has taken almost a year now for them to show any change. The shrinkage is not as drastic as the colon tumors, but thankfully they are shrinking.

Well, thankfully the liver mets are still shrinking. The two he has in his colon are also shrinking. I am hoping his oncologist will schedule another ctdna test soon. I am also looking forward to him getting the colon tumors removed.
