“We’re still here”

Hi all. Just checking in after a long time. I posted this short I saw where Ke Huy Quan and Brendan Fraser saw each other and said ”Hey. We’re still here.” It just got me.

We’re still here.

Just a little over 8 years from my first surgery and st. IV diagnosis. Yearly scans. I’ll take it. I remember in 2014 I was desperate for St. IV survivor stories. Let’s be honest, St. IV people have it a bit tougher. I found stories of hope here when I almost lost all hope. Just paying it forward.

We are all unfortunately and unwillingly connected to each other by this disease. Wishing everyone here the best possible outcome whatever stage of the batlle you’re in.

Loved that short, good stuff.

You were desperate for stage 4 stories and here you are lighting the path of hope. There's someone right now on this board losing hope. They will see your post and be comforted and know IT IS POSSIBLE. Sometimes just that flicker can keep one from giving up.

Thank you!
