13 years cancer free

Postby rickker20 » Thu Feb 02, 2023 12:48 am

I have been cancer free for 13 years. I did decide to get a colostomy because of so many accidents I have below. I could not enjoy life. It's been a year since my colostomy and I can go and do anything I want now. I take a shower every day I replace my
bag every day. I remove my bag before I shower in the morning and put on a new one after. it's not the end of the world having a colostomy matter of fact it's a new beginning to enjoying life.

Congrats Rickker! Isn't it a good goal to have a happy, functional life! You give the right perspective, bag or no bag, being happy and unimpeded is the goal!
