I’m sorry to hear that. It’s surprising to me and obviously disappointing. I would have thought they’d be shooting for more.

Don’t think I’d seen this one, but others that were similar. Certainly seems promising. That 2010 study had great results. I wonder what’s up with the lowered expectations here. Maybe mutational level was a factor? Perhaps you have already inquired into that stuff; certainly Rosenberg would know where the state of the art is.

In the article you linked above, this one:

“In a clinical trial (NCT01373047) of 16 patients with CRC, infusion of expanded sentinel lymph node (SLN)-derived CD4+ T helper 1 (Th1) cells induced an antitumor response, and complete tumor regression occurred in four of nine stage IV patients with distant metastases (131).”

Spoke with Dr Jason R Williams of the Williams Cancer Institute for about half of an hour.

I will be heading there if/when til therapy fails unless Dr Plones in coswig, germany agrees to help me (doubtful because of lymph node involvement)

Germany Yag laser would be my first choice.

And so, today, I am thankful for at least one, last backup plan.

Dear Christopher,
I haven`t hear from you over a long time period and I hope you are OK.
I checked all CT scans and I must describe a progress of all lung mets on both sides and any new lung nodules.
One year ago the mets were very small and I didn`t give a warranty if a complete resection is possible or not, because few smaller nodules were central located.
Actual all nodules are growing very fast and I detect few smaller new nodules. The systemic treatment was not successful.
Now the complete resection is also not possible because I must combine major resection (lobectomy) with LAPM and so you lost to much lung tissue and it was not enough for life, for the breath.
The palliative resection in your case isn`t a good option. I afraid that you would have a brake of systemic treatment between tow operations and during this time period the mets are growing explosive.
Sorry that I couldn`t help you.
I wish you the best.
Dr. Drewes

My onc works with DR.Williams with certain patients.
I sent my scans to him last year. Didn't hear anything back so inquired about why not. Found out he moved his practice and sent scans to old place and he never received them. No idea what happened to the scans.
I might have to try him again also.
