Blood in stool

Postby DarknessEmbraced » Sun Jul 03, 2022 8:04 am

I really wish this anal fissure would go away! The sudocrem cream helps with pain. I use it right before bed. I don't use it during the day because I know it will just rub off when I have multiple bowel movements. I've had a fissure in the past but it didn't cause as many problems as this one. I took Constella/Linzess today and I just ate a salmon filet. Years ago salmon would give me severe cramping and severe diarrhea. I was able to eat canned salmon without any issues. I'm having a lot of cramping and I have blood in my stool(solid). I know it's most likely the fissure causing the blood but I still worry since I've had colon cancer in the past and my Ischemic colitis attacks. I can send an email to my GI about it. What would you do? I was stage 2a in 2014. Surgery cured me so no chemo. I have been cancer free since surgery in 2014.

Goodness girl! I am so sorry you are suffering from a fissure.
Maybe comfry salve or activated charcoal poultice would help clear it up.
Do you eat enough fruits and veggies?
Also, conconut oil taken internally will coat and its anti bacterial ect.

Thank you beach sunrise. There are many fruits and vegetables which I can no longer tolerate since surgery. They cause severe cramping and severe diarrhea. Sudocrem seems to help soothe fissure. I haven't had the blood in stool for a while. I'm thinking it most likely is the fissure. My Gi's never responded to my email about the fissure. Thursday night I had severe cramping and nausea like I get during an ischemic colitis attack. Thankfully, no diarrhea. Still getting cramping which is always worse during my period. I get menstrual and abdominal cramps together.
