16th Cancer Birthday today

Postby helen098 » Mon Jun 06, 2022 12:06 pm

16 years ago today I had my surgery
Sometimes it seems like a million years ago but at the same
time I can remember exactly moments from that day and the
Next horrible 6 months with chemo

Can’t ever forget entirely because of the nerve damage
but sometimes I can forget for a while

The best thing I did was to find the club
Just knowing others were going through the same things
helped more than I can say

Hope everyone is doing as good as they can

Take care and keep fighting

Congrats Helen

I too would have to agree that finding this forum was by far one of the the best things I did on my journey.

Colon Talk gave me hope and got me through some pretty dark times.

I will always be grateful.
