PET/CT Results

Postby beach sunrise » Sat Apr 30, 2022 4:06 pm

All clear!
I am not happy with the 5 minute read of scan. All it says is no oncological findings compared to previous scan.
No updates or mentions of:
thyroid nodules
left lung node
previous uptake at posterior pelvic resection sight
renal cyst
ECT
Ya, I will be requesting a second read to entail every detail of comparison to PET/CT from Dec. This is cancer for God's sake. Do the job and do it right the first time. The info could be important now or in the future along with expanded bloodwork panels. SMH

Thank you!
I held my breath for sure on this one. August will be 3 years battling the beast.
Like you and many others have done, main goal was to find low toxicity protocol that works. So far so good.
I truly believe if I had stayed with NCCN SOC I would not be typing this today.

Thank you, Claudine!
Had appt with surgeon with second read of scan. There is nothing there at all.
I am the most healthy patient they have. Thanks to this site and all the experience and especially all of Rp's homework/research shared.
No explanation for CEA so keep close watch with bloodwork every two weeks and three month scans to not miss the surgery boat if/when.
If CEA goes up again we will immediately have a PET/CT to try to catch it.
Had expanded labs done Wednesday but not posted yet.
