We are closing out colorectal cancer awareness month with big news – the 2022 On The Rise publication is now available online! This has been a labor of love (made that much more difficult because of the pandemic) and we hope that these stories will educate and inspire you.

Some of those stories made some memories flood back for me.

Thank you for producing this version of On-The-Rise magazine in a digital format.  This makes it accessible to a much wider range of viewers.

I found that the photos were exceptionally well done, with clear, sharp images, and interesting poses.  The magazine as a whole is a compelling anthology of individual lives eloquently portrayed as a kaleidoscope of colorectal cancer experiences viewed from unique and personal perspectives. The editor did a very good job of streamlining the 10 stories while giving each story its own personal touch.

I do have one question, though... What happened to the other 2022 On-The-Rise featured survivors/caregivers? I seem to recall that the original announcement named a total of 12 winners, but there are only 10 stories in this issue of the On-The-Rise magazine. What happened?
