Yervoy infusion will be given monday july 11

SBRT starts tues july 12

5 sessions tues/fri and monday to one lung lesion looking to incite abscopal effect.

Opdivo/yervoy will then be given every 21 days until progression or unacceptable toxicity for a maximum of two years.

We should know if its working after two or three month scans.

My personal feeling is that there is probably more than twice the probability that it doesn’t work as opposed to the possibility that it does.

But it is my best shot.

I have to believe that it will work.

Isn’t vitamin E radioprotective? It was one of the few things my rad onc was very clear that I shouldn’t take.

Holding off until after the week of sbrt

Considering foregoing all treatment options having read this:

Background:
- Metastatic or refractory/recurrent small bowel and colorectal cancers are incurable and
poorly palliated by standard therapies. There is an unmet need for active treatments for
these tumors.

- To date immunotherapies including anti PD-1 or anti PD-L1 inhibitors have proven largely
ineffective for the vast majority of these cancers.
- In microsatellite stable (MSS) colorectal cancer (>95% of these cancers) the
response rate to checkpoint inhibitors has been <5%.

Waiting for clarification from Dr Chachoua.

I have no interest in pursuing treatments with tortuous side effects which have little to no chance of success.

Which means I have 6-12 months to live as per Dr Formenti.

If I’m going to die no matter what, and never get my life back, let’s get on with it.

Living like this is torture.

If you forgo treatment plan, might consider alt again.
High dose "C", along with Resveratrol either high dose or IV, high dose olive leaf extract to keep C levels optimal between infusions, Ivermectin,xeloda, high dose milk thistle, ect. 0 sugar as it ferments used as food for cancer.
I have read mutations have underlying protein synthesis in codons that either stop or are damaged and these things help. The liver is very important in all this.

PFCCR - Keep in mind a lot of people do SOC not just to push survivability, but to control cancer pain symptoms. When you start having cancer pain you might sing a different tune. You are so early in this process and have a lot of options available to you. Listen to your doctors, we all know going into this cancer might not be curable but even with the nasty effects of treatment you can still have a good Quality of Life. When I get treatment it sucks and it beats me down for 5-6 days and hits horrible, but then for about 2.5 weeks after that I am more normal and feel better.

I’m not going to live with cancer pain.

I’m getting ready to cash it all in.

I don’t see a point of living everyday in a state of suffering deterioration.
