CAP CT scan results

Postby beach sunrise » Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:10 am

Scan showed the probable inflammation in pelvis (SUV 3.9) from last scan has finally resolved. I researched, consulted with ND and Onc about it. The protocol we decided on worked thank goodness. It is gone!

Bowel loop thickening is also resolved. No idea what that was about for the last 6 months but its gone also.

Everything is normal.

2 lung nodules 3mm and 4mm unchanged. They have been there since the beginning of dx over 2 yrs ago. Thought is debris. I pray they are right.

I give up on the high CEA. Will continue ADAPT+++.

Stayed up all night waiting on results :)

How wonderful! Quick question, do you feel like the ADAPT +++ protocol has been the most beneficial to you in terms of preventing recurrence and/or metastasis?

Just curious!

Thanks you all!
@utahgal7, Yes ma'am. I believe I would be in deep s*** now if I hadn't went the path of ADAPT+++.
I concentrate on several different things and keep up with the bloodwork. Bloodwork is definite, doesn't lie or misleading/questionable.
So far so good. Had bloodwork today.
Trying to figure out how to get rid of those lung nodes/debri. Don't know if its possible yet but researching everywhere as of now. I've been taking things for lymph drainage and rebounding but apparently I need to swap some things or add some things. Frustrating looking for answers.
I have been working on new protocol of pH levels lately trying to keep it between 7.0-7.8 thru out the day.
ADAPT+++ is hard work (requiring dedication for sure) especially when I work about 12hrs a day with rarely a Sat or Sun off but eventaully fell into a routine.

Question: What does the "+++" mean in the Adapt+++ protocol, and how does the Adapt+++ protocol differ from the simple Adapt protocol?

Thank you.

Thank you for providing a definition of ADAPT+++

Is this how you are defining the standard ADAPT protocol for colorectal cancer?

ADAPT Protocol:
ADAPT = Xeloda (capecitabine) + Celebrex (celecoxib)
ADAPT = Patients receive Xeloda (capecitabine) PO BID on days 1-14 and Celebrex (celecoxib) PO BID on days 1-21. Courses repeat every 21 days for up to 3 years in the absence of disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.

Also, under your implementation of the ADAPT+++ protocol, could you give the dosage and frequency of the various supplementary products that your Naturopath Doctors (ND) and your Surgeon and Integrative Oncologist are recommending? How many products in total are you taking every week?

And what kinds of biometric markers / systemic inflammatory markers are you monitoring in your periodic blood tests?

Systemic inflammation biomarkers

According to one of the many studies of systemic inflammation in colorectal cancer, there are three markers that are particularly linked to high levels of CEA in non-metastatic CRC. These three markers are:

  • D-dimer (teal dotted line)
  • Fibrinogen (green dotted line)
  • Interleukin-6 (IL-6) (black dotted line)
Are you monitoring these three biomarkers?

Here is the full list of systemic inflammation biomarkers surveyed in this particular study:

CRP = C Reactive protein = https://www.mayocliniclabs.com/test-catalog/Clinical+and+Interpretive/9731
ALBUMIN = https://www.mayocliniclabs.com/test-catalog/Clinical+and+Interpretive/8436

Thanks for the chart, JJH!
We keep up with those and more
ESR, LDH 1-5, and a few more
T&B Lymphs/NK'S
CEA, ca19-9, ca125, GGT, ect
Many IL's. My IL8 goes up and down and that is the only one that goes in and out of normal range,
Albumin is at high normal range right now as is monocytes.
ALP goes in and out from low 180's to 190's.
All other markers are in a great range.
As for supplements, I hesitate to say as its based on bloodwork.
Commons for targets are; turkey tail, reishi, cordyseps, magnesium, ALA, melatonin, IP6, genistein, B1,B2,B3,B12, zinc, quercetin, berberine.
