Abnormal CEA, 11 years NED and it’s OK!

Postby radnyc » Thu Nov 18, 2021 8:48 pm

Haven’t posted in a while. But hoping to give some people hope.

I’ve been cancer free for 11 years now, from a stage IV diagnosis. My cea has averaged around 8 in all that time, and that’s how it is. It was very stressful at times but I’ve finally accepted the fact that that’s a normal reading for me. And for many others as well. CEA can be high in people with no signs of cancer as well as in people like me who are by most statistics CURED. For a lot of us here in the same boat, try not to stress it’s just the way it is. Stay positive and live your life to the fullest!

Peace!
