Keep staying positive. It's the only way to get through it all. Wishing you and your wife the best.

Wife had blood work, looked good, I of course noticed slight increase in CEA but no one is worried. May 2022 CEA 0.6, January 2022 CEA <0.5, November 2021 CEA 0.5, August 2021 <0.5, July 2021 CEA <0.5, June 2021 CEA 0.7.

Next CT scan August 2022. Just trying to stay positive and pray.

Staying positive helps to fight against this disease. I just had CT scan today and confident that I stay alive :-)

So latest CEA yesterday was 0.8 which makes the last 4 CEA levels 11/8/21-0.5, 1/24/22 <0.5, 5/6/22-O.6 and 7/15/22now 0.8. CEA was never this high except one time when on treatment when it was 1.1. I am now officially freaking out, I just know in my heart it is back again. She has a CT scan 7/22/22 so I will not sleep until then and even then I will not be satisfied. I am trying to keep it together but I honestly don’t know how anymore.

Dear Husbandworried, I understand your feelings, but remember that CEA, like any blood measurement, varies, and 0.8 is still very much within the normal range which is < 3! Hopefully the upcoming scan puts all worries at rest and you get good news from it :D

Wife had her appointment to go over her chest CT and abdominal CT, oncologist said they both were good NED, so that was a big relief, said blood tests were good. Will get a colonoscopy in a month or so which is 3 years after her last one and then get another scan in 6 months and if that one remains NED will move to scans every 12 months. Prayers answered…lots of prayers. Will keep up exercise diet and supplements. Thanks to everyone here it is always comforting to know this site is here. I hope one day to give others hope like many of you are currently doing.

So my wife had her visit today, her CEA was <0.5 all lab work normal, chest and abdominal CT scans Were normal. This puts her 4 years out from original cancer surgery and 27 months out of her second surgery. Switching to scans yearly so there is mixed feelings. Keep up prayers and exercise. Thankful for this place to help.

Wife just had her yearly appointment, CEA <2.0 chest and abdominal CT scans negative for any cancer, blood work normal, she is now 39 months out from recurrence and 5 years from original diagnosis. I thank god for his help and I thank this site for helping me with this process. We will keep up with prayer, exercise and supplements.
