Hello All,
I am scheduled for a colonoscopy in 2 weeks... It will have been 3 years since my last. It is just a regular ole’ check up colonoscopy, but recently I have noticed bright red blood when wiping (sometimes), and blood along stool (sometimes). Obviously this is quite scary, since that is precisely what was happening pre diagnosis. I also have clear evidence of a hemorrhoid- burning, itching, etc. Because of that, I would love to assume that is the only cause of my bleeding, but I have a horrible feeling it isnt’t.
I had bleeding in also back in Dec. 2020, and my onc ordered a CT- which was normal. So that has been less than a year ago....Could a tumor have developed that quickly?
Is a ct a good test for that?
Has anyone had experience with a second colon tumor? Is that likely?
Has anyone had blood on toilet paper and stool that was JUST hemorroid?
I am glad I have my colonoscopy scheduled, but the fear I am experiencing is intense and 2 weeks feels like forever.
