Blood Thinners and Avastin

Hello ,
So one week after starting folfiri my dad ended up in the hospital with blood clots in his lungs and leg and is back on blood thinners . Oncologist is planning to resume chemo on the 18th but of course I am concerned . We are planning to add avastin to his treatment and I have heard about the nose bleed side effects of it . I am wondering has anyone been on blood thinners and avastin both and how it went ?
My Dad was DX - 3/19 stage 3 rectal cancer
Folfox - 6/ 2019 threw 10/2019
Rad - 4/ 2019 threw 5/2019
12/ 19 - Abdominal Perineal Resection - Cancer left and permanent colostomy
9/21- Removal of prostate and bladder- Permanent Urostomy still cancer left
5/28/21 - Positive Biopsy Mostly necrotic tumor
6/14/21 - Sepsis with obstructive uropathy needed nephrostomy tube
7/19/21 Kidney infection
7/28/21-Started folfiri
8/3/21 - Blood Clots in lungs and leg
10/13/21 Chemo stopped

It doesn't sound to me as if your father is a good candidate for Avastin, given that it increases blood clots.
F, 64 at DX CRC Stage IV
3/17/18 blockage, r hemi
11 of 25 LN,5 mesentery nodes
5mm liver met
pT3 pN2b pM1
BRAF wild, KRAS G12D
dMMR, MSI-H
5/18 FOLFOX
7/18 and 11/18 CT NED
12/18 MRI 5mm liver mass, 2 LNs in porta hepatis
12/31/18 Keytruda
6/19 Multiphasic CT LNs normal, Liver stable
6/28/19 Pause Key, predisone for joint pain
7/31/19 Restart Key
9/19 CT stable
Pain: all fails but Celebrex
12/23/19 CT stable
5/20 MRI stable/NED
6/20 Stop Key
All MRIs NED

That is what I was thinking perhaps the oncologist is thinking since he is on blood thinners it will be safe I don't know .

I've been on blood thinners and avastin since blood clots in December. I haven't had any problems.
Dx June 2020, stage IV, w liver mets in both lobes. M, age 50. Right-sided colon tumor. CEA 120.
BRAF+ TMB 5% MSS TDL1-1%
July 2020 - Present: 55 cycles chemo (All the various 5-FU regimens)
December 2020 - February 2021 Y90 Radioembolization, Chemoembolization x2

which blood thinners and were is the clots ?

Eliquis 2x per day.

First two clots were in each elbow, and then I had one in my lung.
