It’s my 5 major surgery and I was thinking it was going to be much easier than the abdominal ones but to be honest, recovery has been just as long, if not longer. Perhaps I am just getting tired of losing parts of me . But surgeon did explain to me today on my follow up that the nerves here are the largest in your body and it can be painful. I also had a collapsed lung from the biopsy two weeks prior and had no symptoms so my breathing post surgery has been fine. If it helps, buy an o2 meter and monitor your levels at home. It can give you some piece of mind! Best of luck!

They did do radiation on the ones present when he was initially diagnosed, and that seems to have been completely successful, but now they say there are too many for radiation, plus some are likely in the old field. Two other mets are not resectable but I am sure radiation would work for him. I would like to get as many removed or destroyed as possible.
He is also KRAS G12D though his primary was rectal, so left-sided. He did have a partial response to folfiri+bev at least.
