Mymom still clean stage 4 diagnose May 2011

Hi all- I’m typing on my phone so excuse any mistakes. Many of you know me and many don’t. My moms journey started in May 2011 with stage 4 colon Mets to liver. She had many surgeries, tons of chemo and many ups and downs but in October 2015 we had a clean scan and she has been NED since. This past May was 10 years she started her journey and this October will be six years she’s clean. I’m not on here much but I like to come back and give an update. I always looked for hope on this board and it’s such a wonderful place. It gave me so much comfort during her darkest times. She is now 73 and still running around. Wish I can post a picture of her going down the slide with my 9 year old the other day. My oldest was 5 when she was diagnosed and now he’s 15. She has bowl issues so she can’t eat a lot of food without getting a reaction (never been able to figure that out) but in the grand scheme of things we are very blessed. I think about you all always.
