Currently, I am not on any type of chemotherapy for my lung nodules. My oncologist said "If there is growth of the lung nodules on the next scan that I would need to resume chemotherapy and consider radiofrequency ablation." As far as supplements go, I take D3, K2, turmeric, cimetidine, a multi-vitamin, and a fiber supplement. I try to exercise most days and I follow a pescatarian diet. I don't know if any supplements, diet or exercise has helped.
I have other health issues that have crept up since my rectal cancer diagnosis. As a result of a recent breast biopsy, I have been diagnosed with atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH). I am waiting for an appointment to see a breast oncologist to path a way forward for this issue.
I am really sorry to hear about your mother's bone cancer. I can understand your cancer fears. My father died in 2019 from stage IV colon cancer that had metastasized to bone and lungs and my mother has breast cancer.
The only thing that has kept me sane through everything is that I have accepted that I have little control over cancer. I am doing everything I can to stay healthy and that is all I can do.
