BUMP

Does anyone here have any thoughts or insights about the relationship between colorectal cancer and comorbidity?

Not sure what you are asking JJH, you posted a lot of data that seems to show correlation between comorbidities and bad or worse prognosis. I think that is rational, maybe not only due to being in poor health to begin with and maybe the treatment not being as aggressive as possible. For example, i was told point blank by my onc that I was getting FOLFIRINOX because i was younger and in good overall health. She said she would not prescribe it if I had other issues than the cancer or was older.
Maybe I am missing what you're asking.

I would say that since my husband had Crohn's disease as a teenager and young adult, he was probably at higher risk of developing CRC (from what I've read).
