Colonoscopy FYI

Postby beach sunrise » Wed Dec 02, 2020 6:33 pm

Hi all, one of the nurses at the hospital called to go over the prep procedure. She asked if I have the prep solution. Told her I did, picked it up a month ago. She said thats good because there is a shortage right now and they are having to push back some scopes because of it. Anyway, heads up.

Thank you for the 'heads up'.

Here are some alternative prep solutions to consider if your favorite is out-of-stock :

WOW

I got scoped about a week or two prior to our country's shut down back in March. Guess I'm glad it is behind me now 8) . I did get a call back a few days after my scope regarding how was I feeling, etc & that I would be getting a letter in a few weeks with result & when I should be scoped again. Never did get that letter, I believe due to shut down. I'm not worried, if there was any follow up care, they would have contacted me by phone.

Good luck with your upcoming scope
