Congratulations on such a great response to FOLFOX. The neuropathy should fade though sometimes it never goes away completely, especially in the feet.
I hope you can get a second opinion on surgery. On the one hand, I understand where the oncological conventional wisdom comes from. Not clear it improves overall survival, statistically speaking. Surgery is traumatic. Etc. etc. Yet it has helped many and even cures some. And there's at least some evidence that playing whack-a-mole as much as possible may improve survival. Especially for you, since you responded so well to the chemo. It just seems plausible that getting as close as possible to NED would be beneficial.
