New lesions adjacent treated lesions I

Postby Cydni50 » Fri Sep 11, 2020 6:03 am

Hi all,
Can anyone advise if they have had surgery or RFA on lung Mets only to find new lesions have been found adjacent the treated lesion area at the next Pet scan. Twice now this has occurred. I had RFA in January on a lesion and next scan a new one right next the treated one has appeared and now I have a new lesion on the scar tissue from a lung resection. Can anyone enlighten me why this is happening or am I just incredibly unlucky.
