Good luck with the colonscopy, I did not get any painkiller or sedation with mine after surgery but it was not painful at all.

Loved the news, and loved the photos. Are you starting to think of cancer less now?
Do you run around those fields when it is not snowing? You live in a very beautiful place.

Thanks! Actually, I think about cancer, but as part of life, I have accepted that I might get it back, but right now I am NED and fully enjoying that :D

Yes, I love to run with and without snow, it is not so deep here and I have shoes with spikes. When I run in the fields though, my Garmin doesn't take in account the slippery terrain, the mud and the wind, so it sends me really mean comments like "training quality, poor"

How is it doing with your running? Do you have any competition in sight?

Hi Claudia,
Running has taken a bit of a back seat over the last 12 months. It was 6 years since diagnosis so about time for my personal life to be a bit more of a focus.
I had trips planned to Japan in May and Italy in June, which I have cancelled though.
I still run about 4 x a week about 40-50 km a week or so. The usual, a long run, speed work out, temp run, fartleks. I had 2 good friends move last year that I had been doing marathons with so I am looking for a few friends to run with but I live in about 2km from the CBD in Sydney in an expensive area with no kids (but I cute cat). Most of my friends live in the suburbs with kids and are all about 30 minutes drive from me so it makes it hard when I am looking to run with them.
What about you. How is your running? You still running your 5km at 4.15 pace wasn't it? That is good, really fast.
Where do you run and what sort of time (morning, evening) do you run?

I try to run 3 times a week, but in winter I am just happy for whatever distance and pace, because it is often dark and slippery. Now it is time to increase a bit the expectations. I run mostly in the evening, but in the weekend also during the day. I thought to run a 10k race in May but maybe now it will be canceled...

Finally scheduled for Monday. Want to back out but I hope it will be okay, they should be hypersensitive to risks right now. Healthy and well otherwise. My daughter is going to start medical school this summer, she is pretty amazing and very concerned for me.
Keep going forward,

Sounds great. I need to schedule the second one of those (I'm two months overdue and waiting another month as my hospital had an COVID cluster). I should look up what the first one is.
