You are too kind!!! You helped me! And I’m just glad there is a record of this “journey” (I hate that word). I’m not delusional ana I know that as a stage 4 survivor the floor could fall from under me. But it’s just so great to know that complete strangers can become friends in the darkest of times. Glad you are well and going on four years! So great! Keep doing what you are doing!
Keep in touch!

Congrats on the house and the eventual retirement, sounds like something I need to start thinking of myself :) Good news that you remain NED and that you are moving in the right direction and past your diagnosis. If you recall, we ended up on here at about the same time and scared as all hell. However, you did a lot to help bring me through those dark moments and fears, and I will be eternally grateful for everything you did to help keep me sane when I needed it most! Going on 4 years NED with my next round of scans in July *fingers crossed* Don't feel bad about not being on here often and getting on with it, that is what we are meant to do and life is worth living! Continue to take good care of yourself and stay in touch!

Hi there-
Just had a scan and results come in on Wed. But I had a signetera test and never heard the results. Cea is 1.4 and all bloodwork looks normal. I know that it could all mean nothing. This will be 3 yes cancer free if it is a clear scan.

How’s everyone doing???

That’s good news! Two clean colposcopies, three CT. Moving forward and trying not to look in the rear view mirror too often.
Take care.

All great news! Think you will be fine. 3 years clean after everything you have been through is amazing. Just keep your head up and know you will make it through this round as well. All will be good, think positive! I just had my latest rounds of scans and tests, everything was clean. I really do believe the surgeon taking out all of the lymph nodes around the site, 25 in total, is what did it. While the chemo kicked my butt and the doctor called it "optional" (but something he would do if faced with the same circumstances), glad I toughed it out and made it through. 4 years pushing to 5......

Hope all is going well in retirement!

Hi there all- haven’t been here for a while. It’s March 2022 and still NED 3 yrs 7 months since stage 4 colon cancer. Just lost 30 lbs on purpose and feeling good. Fear is there still at scans and bloodwork. Signetera test is negative too. Next scan is June. Not retired yet! Two more years and I’m out of NY…God willing. Hoping all is well with all of you!

Good to hear from you and that all continues to be well! Retirement is something that has been on my mind lately as well so know what you are thinking! :) Have not gone in for scans since October of last year, but continue to believe all is well...Will go in for scans and blood work this summer, which will be just shy of the 5 year mark, but it's really never over now that we have been diagnosed, is it? Sad reality, but we are all insignificant in the larger scheme of things. Live for the day, that has been my motto since the cloud lifted over the initial shock.

Family and I have been in Cambodia over the last few days...we have just taking been taking advantage of wvery opportunity to spend quality and meaningful time together. Good memories from now on!

Hope everyone is as well as they can be and is living life to the fullest!
