Just wanted to check in on you.
DH - dx Dec 2014, stage IV with bladder & peritoneal involvement - non-resectable
Colostomy
FOLFOX failed
FOLFIRI failed
Tumor actually distending pelvic skin
Not a candidate for last-ditch pelvic exenteration
Stivarga finally begun 2/19/16
Tumor growing/fungating
Lonsurf started 11/18/16
Died 3/10/17

Oct 2012- thyroid cancer
June 19, 2015 Dx@39 yrs- CRC-T3N1M0
No vascular, no perineural invasion
Aug-Sept 2015- 28 rad/5FU
Oct 28, 2015- LAR- temp ileo, neg. nodes- 0/11
March 2016- 6 rounds Xeloda/positive CHEK2 mutation
August 2016- DCIS and decided post prophylactic double mastectomy
May 2018 - clean CT
Sept 2018-clean scope
Devastation, total shock- oct 2018, invasion of peri mets
Dec 20 - 2 round of folfox
Mom to 4 & 7 yrs kids - at least i brought them to this level of independence.

jhocno ..I don`t have information on Tanya but would like to ask you about the treatment your are with Lonsurf? Hope it is ok with you ? As you can see my wife is on somewhat the same treatment you are (see signature) . Her tumors increased in size 20% while on Stivarge from 6/16 to last scan on 12/28/16. Tumors in lung and liver .. Was wondering how your treatment are doing, and if you have had a scan yet.

I read almost everyday but don`t post much ..Thank you
to DW 6/12 stage 4
6/12 colon resection, liver Mets
Folfox & Folfiri till 4/13
liver resection Mayo 5/13 Clear margins
mop up chemo
NED till 9/14
cancer complete hysterectomy,
CEA climbing 12/14
1/15 scans, tumors return
1/15 Mayo for surgery; need shrinkage before surgery
Folfiri w Erbitux
break over Christmas, rash from Erbitux
1/16 scan tumors growing, liver, lungs, lymph nodes involvement
Folfiri w Avastin 1/16
Stivarga 6/16
lonsurf 1/17
Scan 6/17 tumors growing.
At peace 7/17

It's actually my husband who is on it. He started his third cycle Monday. So far he has had to have a blood transfusion on day 15 of each cycle. He had to have an emergency CT on 12/25, and another emergency CT yesterday; it said the tumor is unchanged, so it looks like it's keeping him stable, at least for now.

jhocon: Thanks very much on the feedback! My wife is done with her first cycle, blood test today ..I 'am hope for the best for your husband on his treatment
