There is a yahoo group for duodenal cancer. Sorry I don't have the exact address or link, but you should be able to find it through google. It's a small group and not too active, but nice folks. Many of the members have dealt with the Whipple procedure. Duodenal cancer (and small intestine cancer in general) as you know is VERY rare. Good luck!
But this site here, The Colon Club, has lots of info you might be concerned with, as there is a lot of overlap of symptoms, treatments, etc.......so don't be afraid to ask here, as ColonClubbers rock!

Hi, Rheaeliza.

Start by clicking on 'user control panel' at the top of the page, then the second tab that says "profile". You'll see 'edit signature' on the left.

Dh and I have only been here a week or so ourselves, although he was diagnosed in August 2012. I discovered this site while he was in the hospital for colon resection surgery. As I was told then - welcome to the club nobody wants to join. There's a lot of helpful info and wonderful people here.

Thanks for this. I'm new to the board & this will help.
Was diagnosed with stage 4b mid September of this year.
At peace emotionally, but dealing with side effects of chemo. (As are we all, I suspect.)

I'll add other descriptive things about me to my signature after I read the list of acronyms I just printed.

How about adding ADR for adenoma detection rate? This is a statistic that endoscopists keep that indicates their ability to find polyps.
