I don't come here often anymore, but I'm glad to read you are doing well.
Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

Just completed what I feel may be my last full CT scan CAP... knock on wood (( hitting my head as we speak  ))

Doctor and I decided this one more full scan just to correlate with all the xray/ultrasounds
AND ......then will probably just do what is indicated with what we find down the road.

Results will be shared here once I have the Doctor's feedback.

Cheers and Harmony to ALL on the Journey

AND soooooo ......

As promised, an update from my last imaging and bloodwork :
all bloods are OK with the ongoing, borderline impaired glucose metabolism issues

Seems like every time I get my glucose under control they change the goalposts !!!
A work in progress and not a main concern of mine.

Last CAP contrast CT scan in May all looked good ... BUTT ...
a new CT radiologist wanted a repeat scan 6 months later, which is NOW.

I am GOOD with new Docs wanting more info and more imaging ...
It was, in fact HOW we found my lung met back in the day.

SO : just had a follow up chest/abdomen CT scan today
Info goes to my Doc and I will meet with her in a week or so for follow up.

Am I freaked out? ... NO
Am I OK to wait for results ? ... YES

Whatever is on the repeat scan =>>>> whatever is on the repeat scan !
I know I have a bunch of "lung thang gang" debris hanging around since the last decade
AND this new imaging center only has some of the historical imaging for reference

I will work through this transition like I have since 2006

KICK BUTT and take names

Anyhow, will let y'all know how this latest chapter in the CRguy Journey turns out

Cheers and Harmony to ALL

AND soooo ...
repeat CT report confirms stable 2mm calcifying debris from my past
Lung Thang Gang exploits
2 calcified granulomas in the left lung are unchanged.
No new lung abnormalities are seen.
No mediastinal, hilar or axillary lymphadenopathy is seen.
No intra-abdominal metastatic disease or tumor recurrence is identified.

Gonna take that as a win and keep ON ... Keepin' ON

Best wishes to all on the Journey
and sending Mega Posi-Vibes your way.
