SUPPORT GROUPS - Local Nationwide Please List Yours!

Postby eitter » Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:59 pm

I thought it would be a good idea for everyone to list their local Support Groups you attend for ColoRectal Cancer. I will leave this at the top of the boards for people to see a list of Support Groups in your state. PLEASE only post Support Groups and any questions about the group PM the person who placed the Group on here. To keep this list clean and not cluttered with other banter, any questions will be deleted, I will first send the question to the person that posted the group before I delete it.

In the Subject line list the location of the Support group and in the Body list all the details anyone would need! I will go first so you can see what I mean.

Thank You!
Blessings,
Liz DENNIS

These groups aren't specific to cancer type, but I do know that as I was moving away a colon cancer support group for both patients and caregivers was starting on the first Monday of each month. I'm not sure what the status is on it, but you can always call and check. What I do know is that for the 7 months I went to this group, I got so much support and made amazing friends that got me through a really difficult time. Definitely worth checking out if you live nearby!
