Antioxidanta reduce DNA damage

Postby ASTEPHENS33 » Sun Apr 10, 2011 8:36 pm

Saw this article. http://ihealthbulletin.com/blog/2011/03 ... na-injury/

A unique formulation of antioxidants taken orally before imaging with ionizing radiation (such as X-rays) minimizes cell damage, noted researchers at the Society of Interventional Radiology’s 36th Annual Scientific Meeting in Chicago, Ill.“In our initial small study, we found that pre-administering to patients a proprietary antioxidant formulation resulted in a notable dose-dependent reduction in DNA injury"

Anyone know anything about this and what the antioxidant formulation is?
