Thank you Jacques for the bump, I wasn't aware of this thread.
Just a few words for the other spouses here, especially new ones, based on my personal experience. It is an amazing resource, and a place where others do understand what you're going through (unlike friends or relatives who, although meaning well, have no idea what it's like to care for someone fighting this awful, relentless disease). One thing I found though - it's easy for cancer to take over your life, and spending time on a forum immerses you even deeper; so I find myself taking long breaks during which I do not post on, or even read, the forum.
But I know it's always there, in case I need a boost, or as an added research place (always good to read personal testimonies in addition to impersonal scientific articles!).
