I am taking: Multi Vitamin High Dose Vit D3 Vit B12 Tagemet (800mg per day) 3600 mg Fish Oil Magnesium Oxilate Milk Thistle (for liver involement) These items were "prescribed" by an altenative md and I told my oncologists about all....and none of them have said to stop any of the suppleme...

I have fgollowed your posts for several months and haven't seen you post anything in a long while. Just wanted to check in and see how you are doing.

I have heard that with liver resection, removing the gall bladder is standard procedure as well. I was surprised to hear this.....but now know what to expect fi I ever make it to resection. You are so lucky to have had the opprotunity.

I asked my oncologist this very question as he is treating one patient (stage IV) who has been on chemo for 7 years and doing well...and one patient who has been stage IV for over 15 year (with initial surgery and then chemo). He said that it is the genetic makeup of the cancer that makes the differ...

I am just trying to think of all of the things that may have lead to this diagnosis....and while I know that I can't change it....if there is a common thread among us (ie, diet soda, etc.) I want to make sure that my children don't do the same....even if it is only antedotal. Mine was 7 prior to diagnosis...when trying to figure out what may be wrong with me.
