... First and foremost, you need a Colon Rectal Surgeon...very very important ... Yes, it's very important to have the surgery done by a Board Certified colorectal surgeon. No, but they usually give a special colon tattoo for each polyp removed. This is so that the next colonoscopy will show where the previous polyps were located.
