Well, from my experience I wouldn't worry about the enlarged spleen. Chemo causes it, and it will almost certainly gradually shrink beck to a more normal size. I had it, and at one point I think it was bigger than yours. I was advised at that stage to avoid activities that were likely to cause hard ...
Go to Colontown on Facebook. There you will find a neighborhood of people in your age bracket to talk to, as well as a source of really excellent information about all colorectal cancer types, stages, and issues.
Thank you, GreenLakeGirl, for administering a dose of reality. Positive stories do nothing to save anyone's fertility. Action does. I am constantly outraged by the lack of information given women about the effect of radiation, in particular, on their fertility and on their sex lives. I think it is m...
TiredandTroubled, you still haven't said where the tumor is!! Surely by this point you know whether it is in your rectum or colon, or on the border. What kind of surgery are you having? It is virtually impossible for anyone to give you useful advice without even the most basic information. I'm sorry...

Check and see if your GI has a patient portal. With that information in hand you can formulate good questions for the surgeon and for us, and do ...
