T cells are made in the thymus. I asked at a scan once if they had a thing to protect my thymus like the one they have for thyroid. She looked at me like I was a crazy woman.

Yes, D3. I think I figured it out. 1,25 dihydroxy is the panel I should be focusing on for vitamin D and lung health. I'm trying to get my levels up but know one is active and one is inactive. 1, 25 levels are the active. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. Vitamin D is a tough one to figure out...

Ikr, Claudine. Insurance is a complete nightmare. Mine doesn't voer anything outside minimum standard of care. So, its quit expensive monthly. Insurance pays for 3 rx's they "cover". Xeloda was $100 co-pay then this month co-pay was $265.00. Pharm assistant said its because they lowered it...

I only took folfox 7 times but I started out with 75g IVC 36hrs before infusion then 36hrs after infusion. I went to 24 hrs before infusion and 36 hrs after infusion and found that was best for me.

OK, in my neck of the woods I have found out that the outbranch facilities for main hospitals that offer scans are now not offering PET scans. I now have to go to the hspital for them. When did this start happening. It's been weeks and still no call to confirm appt. Oncs nurse called our main hospit...

She could send her scan report and bloodwork to Germany. The lung hospital in Coswig for a second opinion on their thoughts.
