Re: Update and Apology

I'm very sorry for the loss of your Mom and that you needed surgery. *hugs* I'm glad your recovery is going well and I hope you won't have to wait long for the pathology report.

Re: Kidney stone, uinary retention and urinary catheter at home

Thank you beach sunrise and rp1954. Unfortunately, there's a doctor shortage here. We don't have a vehicle so I can't see another endocrinologist. I'm going to keep telling him that I want surgery. My second surgery in my 20s fixed things at least for a while. There are no parathyroid specialists he...

Re: Failed prep (hubby) could this be sign of CRC?

Re: Kidney stone, uinary retention and urinary catheter at home

Thank you beach sunrise. I don't think it's related to surgery. The ER doctor said it's due to constipation but I don't believe that. Flomax seems to help. I hope never to have to use the in/out catheter. The kidney stone is due to hyperparathyroidism and so is the constipation. I'm still trying to ...

Re: Kidney stone, uinary retention and urinary catheter at home

I'm sorry you dealt with it so often but I'm glad surgery helped. *hugs* I'm always worried that it will happen again. My colon resection was in 2014. I haven't tried pelvic floor physiotherapy yet. I'm not really holding out much hope for it to be honest. The Flomax extended release definitely help...
