Re: HAI pump?

Having a HAI pump over 19 years ago did not limit any of my activities. I don’t like hot baths and was told not to take them. Mine was by my appendix. I did, at times, need to readjust my seat belt.

And I always set off the sensor at the airport, but not when I visited the White House, go figure.

Re: Who are the longest stage 4 survivor's on here?

So happy to see all the amazing stories! I am reaching 8 years myself. Thank you cptmac whom I probably own my life. I found her post on a forum and pursued her line of treatment. Thank you Cynthia! You encouraged me at the beginning of this road. I followed you to MSKCC where Dr Kemeny took a good...

Re: Doc hated second opinions & some more questions about treatment

I always recommend second opinions. When I was diagnosed in 2004, a lot of doctors gave me no hope. You don't state where you live, but if you have Stage IV, I totally recommend you go to one of the very top hospitals. If you live in the US, these are MD Anderson, Mayo, Memorial Sloan Kettering. I w...

Re: Happy 18 year Cancerversary to me!!!

Congrats. It is always good to hear about people who survived cancer for so long. Especially Stage 4. Dr. Edward Greeno is still practicing here in Minnesota. One of my friends is being treated by him and she is all praises about him. Thank you. And tell your friend not to be afraid to ask Dr. Gree...
