Josh..a brief history,dx in 2002,surgery to remove prostate showed cancer in several lymph nodes and seminal vesicles but PSA went to 0 for 18 months.It then started rising...had radiation (which caused a secondary cancer 10 years later...rectal ...

I get a Neulasta the day after each infusion....haven't noticed any side effects or pain, but the doc has me taking Claratin the day before and the day of the shot..... I assume this why I have no issue but who knows.

Great post......I rode motorcylces for 30 years, finally had to stop....too many medical issues.....I totally get what you said though.

For the last 20 years I ate a very good low fat, low calorie diet.....juiced with minimal red and processed meat...still got cancer in fact 2 cancers....so I said screw it I now eat what I want. And I have been a heavy drinker for 40 years....still drink, except for the first 7-10 days after a chemo...

I fully understand where you are at. I am also fighting 2 Stage 4 cancers .....currently doing chemo for my very advanced prostate cancer, then I still have to deal with the mets in my lungs from the colorectal. I get so discouraged......there is no enjoyment in my life right now....nothing but endl...

I am so sorry to hear this......I can totally relate.....I am dealing with 2 stage 4 cancers myself....colon and prostate....both active. My prostate cancer has spread into my ribs and spine,taking hydro codon for pain. My recent ct shows more lung activity and I just had a vats.l still can not beli...

Agree...try stool softener,drink lots of water, and walk. It is kind of scary......all that food backing up!

I don't know about recovery time, but I had to force feed one of my beloved poodles while he recovered. Used a blender (VitaMix) and put in protein powder, with cooked meat, cooked eggs, cooked potatoes, and whatever else I felt like adding...used pedialite for the liquid...got my turkey baster and ...
